Disney Vacation Club?
Wow. Some of these answers are really ads. We joined the DVC last January after going there on WDW’s $1,500 7 day package at the Pop Century Resort.
We took the tour of Saratoga Springs and looked great. Since we have two boys (4&3), we made a committment to the Mouse for timeshares generally scared me. Disney runs a quality operation.
The wife & I spent a long weekend at The Sagamore in Lake George with DVC points. We are staying at Saratoga for the first time in a couple of weeks in a 2-bedroom and am excited.
Granted, you can stay at many other places with DVC points. Don’t bother listening to the fact that you can use them for Disney Crusies. the points required for one person is likely more than you can be able to afford to purchase in a year.
The DVC membership lasts 48 years. Once the approx. $17,000 cost is free and clear (about $175/mo. for 10 yrs), I hope to be traveling the world in my 50’s & 60’s annually glad that I made the committment to the Mouse.
